Jacqueline Jones LaMon is a Brooklyn-based writer. She considers herself a conduit of the world around her, taking in stimuli, and offering perspectives. Her works include Last Seen, University of Wisconsin Press, (2011); The Legend Of Clarence Thomas, Willow Books (2011); and Gravity, U.S.A., Quercus Review Press (2006).
LaMon’s residencies and awards include The Yaddo Corporation, NY (2011); Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, VA (2008); Fine Works Arts Center, MA (2005); and Cave Canem Foundation, Inc., NY (2000, 2001, 2002). She received her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, J.D. from UCLA School of Law, and M.F.A. from Indiana University Bloomington.
