“NewYorkCentric has attended several Hudson Warehouse productions over the years and feels strongly that it is one of the greatest free cultural institutions in the city.” – NewYorkCentric, June 28, 2011

Hudson Warehouse is a New York-based organization providing quality, classical theater for New York City audiences. Their performance space is along the Hudson River and in the heart of Riverside Park. Hudson Warehouse’s mission is to provide quality, exciting, innovative, and affordable classical theater to the community. The Warehouse believes theater is a “ware” and essential for daily life. To this end, the Warehouse doesn’t sell tickets, but instead has a pay-what-you-can policy. The company produces one show per month over the three summer months, working with professional actors, artists, directors, costume designers, and other guest artists. Past productions have included Aphra Behn’s The Rover, Euripides’s Trojan Women, and Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull, and many works by Shakespeare.
