Geo Decas O’Donnell (b.1980) is Brooklyn-based artist born in Cape Cod, MA. O’Donnell creates downtown theatre and co-runs the ensemble-based theater company, CollaborationTown.
His plays include The Deepest Play Ever: The Catharsis of Pathos and From Skull To Ghost. He has co-created, written and performed in The Trading Floor, The Astronomer’s Triangle, Townville!, Let’s Go, The Momentum, Help Me To Make It, and FAMILY PLAY.
His awards and residencies include a Fringe Excellence Award for Outstanding Playwriting for The Deepest Play Ever: The Catharsis of Pathos; Robert Wilson’s Watermill Center Residency; and an Otto Rene Castillo Award for Political Theatre (2014). He received his B.F.A. from Boston University and has studied playwriting with Charles Mee and Jeff Jones.
