Hailing from the artistic and activist community of the Bay Area in California, Dani moved to New York in 2013. A painter and a performer, Dani believes strongly in free and accessible art, and the impact it can have on individuals and a community. She has studied at the Berkeley Repertory School of Theatre, and was an original company member at the Parker Street Odditorium. In addition to her work with LMCC, Dani is the co-founder of the 17th Street Artist Collective, which seeks to provide free space and workshops to members in a cooperative setting. She has worked as a Program Assistant at the Whitney Museum, an Events and Programming Assistant at The New School as well as supported and contributed to various independent curatorial and artistic projects. She received a B.A. in Visual Studies with honors from The New School.

Dani manages all aspects of LMCC’s Extended Life Dance Development Program, SU-CASA, and other residency programs.
