Carlos Jiménez Cahua (b.1986) is a New York-based artist born in Lima, Peru. His solo exhibitions include Neoplasms and Pleonasms, Samsøn, Boston, MA (2014). His group exhibitions include a forthcoming show The Object of Representation: Peruvian Artists and Figurative Art, Art Museum of the Americas, Washington, D.C. (2016); Photography: Before and After, Lucas Gallery, Princeton University, NJ (2014); and INTERACT: Deconstructing Spectatorship, Courtauld Institute of Art, London, UK (2014–2015).

Jiménez Cahua has completed residencies at I-Park Foundation, East Haddam, CT (2013) and sübSamsøn, Samsøn, Boston, MA (2012). He is also a recipient of the Emerging Artist Award, St. Botolph Club Foundation, Boston, MA (2012). Jiménez Cahua holds a B.A. from Princeton University and a M.F.A. from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
