Our wonderful SU-CASA artists-in-residence begin their public presentations in May and June. These include:
Mary Butler – Fiber Artist: Class of Quilting Made Simple Strut Their Stuff
On May 10 at 1:00pm, come to the Project FIND Woodstock Senior Center to celebrate the end of the Quilting Made Simple course and see pillows, bags, backpack, apron, quilt, and more, all made by the participating seniors.

David Anaya Maya: Drawing Life Stories
From May 18 – June 15, a group show of drawings made over the last 15 weeks by senior artists will include landscapes, abstracts, expressionistic compositions, and more. These visual images of their stories will be available for view at the center until the closing reception on June 15 from 5:00-6:00pm. Opening reception to be held on May 18 from 5:00-6:00pm at Stein Senior Center.

DOEprojekts – Deborah Adams Doering & Glenn N. Doering: Symbols and Storytelling
Opening reception to be held on May 24 from 1:00-3:00pm at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Senior Center at St. Peter’s Church. Visitors will see a selection of visual art “totems” on large panels, created by senior participants. The exhibition is curated by workshop lead artists Deborah and Glenn Doering/DOEprojekts, and closes on May 31 at 3:00pm.
