Sandra Erbacher (b. 1978) is a New Jersey-based artist born in Germany. Embedded in her interdisciplinary work is a critique of corporate bureaucracy. Her exhibitions include Blue-Sky Thinking at Spring/Break NYC, Standard Deviations at Grin Providence, Be Here Now at Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, Jupe bleue, une blonde, des calculatrices et un nu couché at Parisian Laundry, Montreal, and Other People’s Things at Cohen Gallery, Brown University.
Erbacher is a recipient of a Nars Foundation Residency, NYC (2015); Chazen Prize for an Outstanding MFA Student, Chazen Museum of Art, Madison, WI (2014); Blink Grant for Public Art, Madison Arts Commission, Madison, WI (2012); University of Wisconsin Fellowship (2011-14); and School of Visual Arts, Summer Residency Program (2010). She holds an MA/MFA from University of Wisconsin–Madison, a BFA from Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts, London, an MA in Communication, Culture and Society from Goldsmiths College, University of London; and a BA in Sociology, Goldsmiths College, University of London.
