Golnar Adili

Golnar Adili (b. 1976) is a Brooklyn-based artist who was born in Falls Church, VA and grew up in Tehran. She is a mixed media artist working primarily with her own history in books, paper and print. Her exhibitions include Relative Material, Nurture Art in Brooklyn, NY, 2018 (group); Language Landscape, Kentler International Drawing Space, Brooklyn, NY, 2016 (solo); Displacements: The Craft Practices of Golnar Adili And Samira Yamin at the Craft and Folk Art Museum, LA, CA, 2014.

Golnar is a recipient of 2017 Workspace Residency, Center for Book Arts, New York City, Pollock Krasner Grant, New York City, 2014, and a recipient of Smack Mellon Studio Artist Program, Smack Mellon, Brooklyn, NY, 2013.
