MORE&MORE is a multidisciplinary collaborative led by Brooklyn-based artist Marina Zurkow. The collaborative includes Surya Mattu and Sarah Rothberg. Their work focuses on exploring maritime shipping (e.g. tariff codes, container boxes, and legal and illegal trade) that transforms the oceans as a Pangaea of capital. MORE&MORE UNLIMITED is creating exhibitions, workshops, and encounters, some of which premiered at bitforms gallery in spring 2016. Zurkow’s works include Petroleum Manga, punctum books (2014); Outside the Work: A Tasting of Hydrocarbons and Geological Time (dinner for 50), Rice University, Houston, TX (2014); Friends, Enemies and Others, Montclair Art Museum, Montclair, NJ (2011), and Slurb at the Chronus Art Center, Shanghai, China (2015). Zurkow’s awards and residencies include Rising Waters / Rauschenberg Foundation, CENHS (Center for Energy and Environmental Research in the Human Sciences), Rice University, TX (2016); the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship (2011); Yaddo, Saratoga Springs, NY (2010); MacDowell Colony, Peterborough, NH (2010); and the Eyebeam Art + Technology Center, New York, NY (2009). Zurkow received a B.F.A. from the School of Visual Arts and teaches at ITP at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.
