Westbeth Artists Residents Council is the New York-based programming organization at Westbeth, the largest artists’ community in the United States. WARC promotes the art and artists of Westbeth as well as artists worldwide. Since 1980, they have presented visual, performing and literary artists, and have partnered with other arts organizations including, most recently, PEN and Whitney Museum of American Art. Their major events include exhibitions at The Westbeth Gallery, and annual events including WestFest Dance Festival, The Westbeth Music Festival, and the Literary Safari in conjunction with PEN World Voices.
