Tamar Rogoff Performance Projects is a New York-based company dedicated to producing dance, theater, and documentary films, and to the enhancement of the artistic process for artists and audiences. The company’s goal is to expand audiences while providing a potent theatrical platform for the issues and members of diverse communities. They immerse themselves in partner communities and recruit advisors and cast members from those communities to inform their process. These communities include veterans with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, teens from drug treatment centers, Holocaust survivors, and actors with Cerebral Palsy. Tamar Rogoff Performance Projects crosses artistic disciplines to investigate life’s difficult stories with imagination, empathy, insight and humor.
