Piehole is a New York-based performance art and theatre ensemble that draws from a shared fascination with objects and media. Piehole creates live events through an ongoing investigation of collective authorship. Their works include HAND FOOT FIZZLE FACE, JACK Theater, Brooklyn, NY (2015); Old Paper Houses, New York, NY; Irondale Ensemble Project, Brooklyn, NY (2015) and The Connelly Theater, New York, NY (2014), Please Make Up Room, AXA in Action Festival in Prague, Czech Republic (2011); and 2 Stories that End in Suicide, HERE Arts Center, New York, NY and The Brick Theater, Brooklyn, NY (2011).

They were artists-in-residence at The Drama League, New York, NY (2015) and were curated artists at Prelude 14, New York, NY (2014). They are recipients of a Space Grant from the Brooklyn Arts Exchange, New York, NY (2011) and a 2050 Fellowship from the New York Theater Workshop, New York, NY (2014 – 2015).

Piehole members Tara Ahmadinejad received an M.F.A. from Columbia University, Allison LaPlatney and Alexandra Panzer received B.A.s from Brown University, Elliot B. Quick received an M.F.A. from Yale School of Drama and Jeff Wood received an M.F.A. from PIMA-Brooklyn College.
