Pete M. Wyer is a London-based artist born in Cheltenham, England. He is drawn to the spontaneity of jazz, the storytelling of film and the limitless possibilities of sound. Wyer has created opera, music theatre, song cycles, ballet scores, and participated in numerous collaborations with poets, choreographers, film-makers, and sculptors.

Wyer’s awards and residencies include Blue Mountain Center Residency (2013); Best Composer Award, London Fringe Awards (2011); MacDowell Fellowship (2009); Best of 2009, Jazz on 3, BBC Radio 3 for Insomnia Poems with poet Steve Dalachinsky (2009); and MacDowell Fellowship (2008).
