Nicolas Holiber is a Brooklyn-based artist whose mixed media sculptures are primarily made of reclaimed wood and sometimes include an array of different materials such as plaster, paint, yarn, feathers, bones, and found objects. His group exhibitions include Lost Corcosa, Masters Projects, Brooklyn, New York, NY (2014); The Faberge Big Egg Hunt, New York, NY (2014) and Surplus Candy, 324 East 4th Street, New York, NY (2014). His residencies and awards include NYC Art in the Parks, Tribeca Park, NY (2015); Eric Fischl Artist in Residence Teaching Program, West Nottingham Academy, Colora, MD (2015); Postgraduate Fellowship, New York Academy of Art, NY (2012, 2013); and Leipzig Artist Residency, Liepzig International Art Programme, Leipzig, Germany (2011). Holiber received a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Vermont and an M.F.A. in Painting from New York Academy of Art.
