Molly Lieber and Eleanor Smith are Brooklyn-based artists. Lieber and Smith have been making experimental dances together since 2006. They are devoted to their partnership and the mystery of improvisation. Their works include Rude World, Chocolate Factory Theater, Long Island City, NY (2015); Tulip, Roulette, Brooklyn, NY (2014); and Beautiful Bone, Chocolate Factory Theater, Long Island City, NY (2013). Awards and residencies include Bessie Nomination for Emerging Choreographer for Tulip (2013); Baryshnikov Arts Center Artist Residency Program, New York, NY (2014), and Summer Studios Residency, P.A.R.T.S, Brussels, Belgium (2015). Smith holds a B.F.A from Virginia Commonwealth University and Lieber holds a B.A from Connecticut College.
