Mike Iveson is a New York-based artist from Jersey City, NJ. He is an award-winning composer for dance and theater, and a performer with Elevator Repair Service theater company. Iveson’s past performances include Gatz, the Public Theater in NYC  (and 25+ other international venues, 2006-2012);The Select, New York Theater Workshop, NY (2011); and Dogs, Brooklyn Academy of Music, (2006).

Iveson’s residencies and awards include Process Space, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, NY (2013); Ethyl Eichelberger Award, Performance Space 122, NY (2013); Bessie (New York Dance + Performance Award) in composition, NY (2001); and Live Music for Dance grant, American Music Center (2006). He received his B.A. from Oberlin College and has a certification from Institute of Audio Research.
