A California native who moved to New York in 2015, Michelle holds an Art History degree from the University of California, Berkeley, a Certificate in Curating from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and has significant experience in the Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, and New York City contemporary art scene.

Before joining LMCC, Michelle worked at numerous art institutions including Jim Kempner Fine Art in Chelsea, Worth Ryder Art Gallery in Berkeley, Offramp Gallery in Pasadena, and the Oakland Museum of California.

As an art researcher, Michelle has spread contemporary art appreciation through various media platforms including the The Amerindo Project and Art in America magazine. Alongside her career in the arts, Michelle has also been involved with several non-profit organizations where she served diverse populations such as prison inmates and homeless families. Michelle is thrilled to join LMCC where she can combine her background in art, her passion for non-profit work and her love of New York City.

Michelle assists with LMCC’s fundraising activities and supports LMCC’s broader sustainable impact measurement and reporting efforts.
