Marion Wilson is an artist based and born in New York. She creates paintings and drawings on recycled photography artifacts, depicting landscapes that she carefully researches and inhabits. There is always a public, interactive, and collaborative component to her projects. Wilson’s works have appeared in Tender and Steamy: Artists in the Hothouse, Wavehill Art and Gardens, NY; and Cultura Digital Festival, Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Jainero, Brazil.

Wilson’s awards and residencies include Sam and Adele Golden Foundation; Painting Artist Residency, NY (2013); Wave Hill Art and Gardens, Winter Artist Residency, NY (2010); and Sculpture Space, NYSCA funded residency, NY (2000). She received her B.A. from Wesleyan University, M.A. from Columbia University, and M.F.A. from University of Cincinnati.
