Lois Cremmins is a New York-based artist born in Brooklyn, NY. She utilizes paint, ink, and paper to build images that allow her to express a direct response to her environment. Cremmins’ solo exhibitions include You Never Know What’s Around the Corner, Atlantic Gallery, NY (2013); Eyebuzz Gallery, Tarrytown, NY (2007); and Domestic, chashama window display 42nd Street, NY (2007). Her group exhibitions include Collage Exhibition, James, NY (2013); The Four Elements, Atlantic Gallery, NY (2013); and Katonah Museum Artist’s Association, NY (2012).

Cremmins’ residencies and awards include Money for Women/Barbara Deming Fund Award (2007); Public Artwork, NY (2007); National Endowment for the Arts Grant – NY State Council on the Arts (1982); and Kingston Artists Group Residency, NY (1982). She received her B.S. from SUNY New Paltz and a Diploma Landscape Design and Maintenance from SUNY Ulster.
