Laura’s curiosity and passion for the arts and the people who make it, document it, and challenge it, manifests as both an administrator and an artist. Prior to joining LMCC, Laura worked as the Communications & Branding Manager for Performance Space 122 (2008–2012). As a classically trained dancer who was in the corps of Pittsburgh Ballet Theater (2002–2006), she has more recently been working on less classical things including performing in Reid Farrington’s Passion Project (2009–2012) and choreographing 11 rounds of boxing for Farrington’s TYSON vs. ALI (2014). Additionally she works as a freelancer helping individual artists share their work with audiences. Laura joined the board of The Poetry Project in November 2014 and currently lives in Brooklyn.
Laura oversees all aspects of brand development as well as stakeholder communication strategies and implementation, which includes how we are represented and how we activate our own channels, purchased channels, and earned channels.
