Larry Krone is a New York-based artist born in Chicago, IL. He has recently been working with found craft and needlework projects to make huge gestures of time, collaboration, workmanship, and achievement. He also performs and writes songs in an art and entertainment context. Krone’s solo performances include Larry Krone: Together Again, Pierogi, Brooklyn, NY (2013); Larry Krone: Here I Am, PSTL Gallery, St. Louis, MO (2012); and Larry Krone’s Contemporary Country Music Museum, Contemporary Museum, Baltimore, MD (2011).

Krone’s awards and residencies include The Millay Colony, Austerlitz, NY (2013); The MacDowell Colony, NH (2012, 2011); Fellowship in Crafts, New York Foundation for the Arts (2009); Visiting Artist Residency, Hot Iron Press, New Orleans (2009); and Peter S. Reed Foundation Grant, NY (2006). He received his B.S. from New York University.
