Kyle deCamp is a New York-based and Chicago-born multimedia theater artist. Her performances include URBAN RENEWAL at EMPAC Theater, Troy, NY (2013); Crossing the Line | FIAF, New York, NY (2013); and Théåtre de la Cité Internationale, Paris, France (2013); DEAD CAT BOUNCE an ensemble collaboration with Chris Kondek at Hebbel Theater, Berlin, Germany; Mousonturm, Frankfurt, Germany and The Showburg, Rotterdam, Holland (2003-2006) and OUT OF BREATH, The Kitchen, New York, NY (2010). Her grants and awards include the Bessie Award and the New Settings Award from the Hérmes Foundation. Her work has received commissions from NYSCA. She was an artist-in-residence in LMCC’s Swing Space, New York, NY; Yaddo, Saratoga Springs, NY; and EMPAC, Troy, NY. She received a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and an M.F.A. in Electronic Arts from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is the current Andrew Mellon Artist in Residence at Drew University.
