During KEIGWIN + COMPANY’s Process Space residency, the company will begin the development of an electrifying new female quartet, titled Portraits. Utilizing K+C’s recent male quartet Contact Sport as an inspirational launching point, Portraits will explore the range of female relationships in brief vignettes. Set to the tunes of Otis Redding, the work will be developed in close collaboration with the four dancers, capturing Keigwin’s signature theatricality and athleticism.
