Kambui Olujimi is a Brooklyn-based artist whose work focuses on collective psychic space and explores notions of inevitabilities as a means to investigate social practices, policies, and exchanges. His solo exhibitions include A Life in Pictures, MIT List Visual Arts Center, Boston, MA (2014) and Blind Sum, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Brooklyn, NY (2014, 2015). His group exhibitions include Crossing Brooklyn, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Brooklyn, NY (2014). His residencies and fellowships include Fountainhead Residency, Miami, Florida (2015); New Works Commission, Art in General, New York City (2010); Fellow, Civitella Ranieri, Umbertide, Italy (2015); and FSP/Jerome Fellowship, Franconia Sculpture Park, Franconia, Minnesota (2014). Olujimi received a B.F.A. from Parsons School of Design and an M.F.A. from Columbia University School of the Arts.
