Jessica Vaughn (b. 1983) is a New York-based visual artist who was born in Chicago, IL. Vaughn creates photographs, sculptures, installations and mixed media artworks to describe and interrogate issues of dispossession, consumer habits, class and cultural specificity and dislocation in cities.

Her group exhibitions include Itinerant Belongings, Slought Foundation, Philadelphia, PA (2014); Round 39: Looking Back, Moving Forward, Project Row Houses, Houston, TX (2013) and Fore, Studio Museum in Harlem, New York, NY (2012). She was an artist-in-residence at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Skowhegan, ME (2015); Center for Photography at Woodstock, Woodstock, NY (2014); and the Whitney Independent Study Program, New York, NY (2012 – 2013). She was an Idea Fund Grantee, Diverse Works, Houston TX (2015). She received a B.H.A. from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.F.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
