Jason A Eisner (b. 1971) is a Brooklyn-based multimedia artist born in Hinsdale, IL. He is interested in the narrative possibilities of simple daily interactions, habits, and rituals and uses these observations as the genesis for visual storytelling. His solo exhibitions include On the Road, Fire Barn Gallery, Grand Haven, MI (2012); J&J: Five Alive (On the Backs of Animals), Jack the Pelican, Brooklyn, NY (2009); Knucklehead Blues, English Kills Art Gallery Brooklyn, NY (2007); J&J: Back and forth, English Kills Art Gallery, Brooklyn, NY (2009); and First Wave, Luxury Fudge, Center For Fine Art, Knox College, Galesburg, IL (2002). He was an artist-in-residence at Pouch Cove, Newfoundland, Canada (2003). He received a B.A. with Honors in Studio Art from Knox College.
