Gabriela Salazar (b. 1981) is a New York-based artist. Her solo exhibitions include In Advance of a Storm (for Luis and Antonia) (for A and L) (for parents) (for two), The Lighthouse Works’ Fellowship in Public Art, Fishers Island, NY (2014); For Closure (Outdoors, the Bronx), Bronx River Art Center, NY (2012); and Site Set, Luchsinger Gallery, Greenwich, CT (2012). Her group exhibitions include La Bienal: Here is Where we Jump, El Museo del Barrio, NY (2013) and Building Materials, Real Art Ways, Hartford, CT (2013).

Salazar was chosen as a “Hot Picks” artist for Smack Mellon, NY (2013). Her previous residencies include the Louise Bourgeois Residency for a Sculptor, Yaddo, Saratoga Springs, NY (2012) and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Skowhegan, ME (2011). She received a B.A. from Yale University and a M.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design.
