Dan LeFranc is a New York-based artist. This is a first-time collaboration among him as playwright; director Rachel Chavkin; puppeteer Emily DeCola; and musician Jerome Ellis. LeFranc’s performances include The Big Meal, Playwrights Horizons (2012); Troublemaker or The Freakin Kick-A Adventures of Bradley Boatright, Berkeley Repertory Theater (2013); and Sixty Miles To Silver Lake, Soho Rep (2009).
LeFranc’s awards include Best Ensemble, Joseph Jefferson Award; Best Director, Lucille Lortel Award; and Outstanding Play nomination, Drama Desk. He received his B.A. from UC Santa Barbara and M.F.A. from Brown University.
