Cupola Bobber is the collaborative duo Stephen Fiehn and Tyler B. Myers. From Chicago, now based in Brooklyn, they starting working together as Cupola Bobber in 2000. Starting with a common interest in approaching the live moment as a material, they have worked in a wide range of media. Their work has been presented in the US at PS122 and CUE Art Foundation in NYC, Fusebox Festival, Dance Works Northwest, Links Hall, and PACedge, and abroad at Plateaux Festival Frankfurt, 16. Schillertage Internationale Mannheim, Steirischer Herbst 2011 Graz, and In Between Time 2010 Bristol, in addition to a few performance tours through the UK. Selected UK venues include: Battersea Arts Centre London, Chelsea Theatre London, Arnolfini Bristol, Dartington Arts, GreenRoom Manchester, The Basement Brighton, Warwick Arts Centre, Nuffield Theatre Lancaster, and the Workshop Theatre Leeds. The duo have been MacDowell Colony fellows and Arts Council England International Fellows at the Nuffield Theatre, Lancaster University. Commissioners include NPN, PS122, Links Hall, Schillertage Internationale, and Steirscher Herbst.
During their Swing Space residency, Cupola Bobber will be working on a new performance.
