Originally from Colorado, Bobby Kean is a happy transplant to Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. Prior to joining LMCC in 2017, he oversaw corporate sponsorships and restricted fundraising for The Museum of Modern Art, helping bring to fruition MoMA’s ambitious annual exhibition program. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Bobby’s first development role was with Playwrights Horizons, the non-profit Off-Broadway theater company dedicated to the production of new American plays and musicals. After Playwrights, he joined Sing for Hope, a non-profit organization with a mission of making arts accessible to all. As Executive Director, Bobby led the Pianos project – a summertime initiative that placed artist-designed pianos in the streets and public spaces of NYC for two weeks, and built Sing For Hope’s year-round arts partnerships, connecting volunteers with local schools, healthcare facilities, and community-based organizations.

Bobby oversees the development and implementation of LMCC’s fundraising and communication strategies, supporting Executive leadership and Board in their efforts to advance the organization’s capacity and brand.
