Blake Carrington is a Brooklyn-based visual and performing artist. His hybrid works include inkjet paintings, live audiovisual performances, video screenings, installations, and album releases. Solo exhibitions include Shaping A Signal, Philadelphia Photo Art Center, Philadelphia PA (2013) and Dis/continuum, Central Utah Arts Center, Ephraim, UT (2011). Other group works he has participated in include Weird Science, Kunsthalle Projects, Brooklyn, NY (2014) and Bessarabia Ghost Tapes, Musée d’Art et d’Histoire du Judaïsme, Paris, France (2013).

Carrington’s recent awards include the Jerome Foundation Travel Research Grant, Tokyo, Japan (2014); Smack Mellon, Hot Picks Program, New York, NY (2014); and the NYSCA Distribution Grant, New York, NY (2014). He received his M.F.A. from Syracuse University and his B.A. from Indiana University.
