Benjamin Keddy is a New York-based artist and composer originally from Boston. His art focuses on producing work in sound, sculpture, and video. His solo exhibitions and installations include Better World Club, Cambridge, MA (2014); Selves, Zuständige Behörde/I.A.M, Leipzig Lindenau (2013); and Cross Talk, Zentralle/I.A.M, Berlin-Wedding (2013). His group exhibitions and installations include Departure, Gallery 400, Chicago, IL (2013) and The Sky Is Falling, Byrdcliffe/Kleinert James Center for the Arts, Woodstock, NY (2012). His residencies include Niederlassung, Institut für Alles Mögliche, Berlin-Wedding, Germany (2016) and Zentrale, Institut für Alles Mögliche, Berlin-Wedding, Germany (2013). Keddy’s awards include Best Use of Sound for Bright, Athens International Film Festival, Athens, OH (2011) and Best Original Score for Sympathetic Details, Almost Famous International Festival, Phoenix, AZ, (2008). Keddy received a B.F.A. from Long Island University, an M.A. from Emerson College and an M.F.A. from the University of Illinois.
