Ann deVere is a Manhattan-based artist born in the Bronx. She is primarily a printmaker who loves to draw.
deVere finds endless possibilities for drawing in the diversity of techniques and surfaces in printmaking. deVere’s group exhibitions include Standing Rock Benefit Exhibition, Rogue Space, New York, NY (2016); Collectively Assembled: 28 visits/1 show, A@R, New York, NY (2013); MAPPING SKATE PARKS, New York, NY (2011); and tART Summer Salon Show, A.I.R. deVere’s residencies and awards include SU-CASA, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, New York, NY (2016) and SPARC (Seniors Partnering With Artists Citywide), Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, New York, NY (2014); A@R Site Specific Winter Residency/tART collective, NY (2013); MacDowell Colony Printmaking Residency Fellowships, NH (1998, 1996, 1993); and Lower East Side Printshop (LESP) Scholarship Program for Artists of Color, NY (1994-1995). She received her Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute.
