Amy Ritter (b.1986) is a Brooklyn-based artist born in Allentown, PA. Ritter’s work consists of sculptural installations with large photographic images. Her solo exhibitions include Here | There, Arlington Arts Center, Arlington, VA (2016). Group exhibitions include Kép Klub, D’ Clinic, Zalaegerszeg, Hungary (2015); and Woodmere Annual, Woodmere Museum, Philadelphia, PA (2015). Ritter’s residencies and awards include Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, Skowhegan, ME (2016); Fine Arts Work Center fellowship, Provincetown, MA (2015-2016); Fergus Scholarship Award, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH (2013); the Vermont Studio Center fellowship, Johnson, VT (2014); and a Smack Mellon Hot Pick (2016). Ritter holds a B.F.A. from Tyler School of Art, Temple University and an M.F.A. from The Ohio State University.
