The AEON Music Ensemble is a New York-based chamber orchestra devoted to presenting classical and contemporary concert music. The Music for a Sustainable Planet Concert featured American composers Terry Riley and young emerging New York-based composers alongside the Kronos Quartet in response to Climate Change. AEON’s performances include works of Mozart, Bach, as well as world premieres by American composers David Hertzberg and Dmitri Tymoczko at Carnegie Hall, New York, NY (2015); Interactive Arts Performance Series, NYU Music Technology and Music Composition Program (2015); the inaugural NoiseGate Festival produced in collaboration and partnership with NYU Steinhardt (2016); and IN ALL, a three-day multimedia and interdisciplinary performance marathon featuring contemporary works by three young Manhattan-based composers. AEON’s residencies include Princeton University Sound Kitchen Concert Series Residence.
