Adriane Connerton is a Brooklyn-based new media artist who was born in Takoma Park, MD. Through the lens of desire, Connerton uses video, performance, and 3D animation to explore the physical limits of her own body. Her group exhibitions include Happy Hour, ArtHelix, Brooklyn, NY (2015) and Fall Inauguration: Painting and Sculpture, Carrie Rowland Gallery, Richmond, VA (2014). She is a recipient of a Toby Devan Lewis Fellowship (2014). Connerton received her B.F.A. from New York University and an M.F.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University.
