Founded in 2012, the William Holman Gallery exhibits contemporary mid-career artists, who have made a life of creating art. The roster emphasizes excellent preparation and a practiced, thoughtful artistic execution of works in all media. With one of the premiere gallery spaces on the LES, William Holman Gallery presents large scale solo shows of an international array of artists working in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and installation.
William Holman Gallery is committed to socially engaged artwork and the development of the arts community in Lower Manhattan. William Holman Gallery has relationships with many former Lower Manhattan Cultural Council resident artists including Kate Gilmore, Michael Davis, Liene Bosquê, and Farideh Sakhaiefar and is honored to host LMCC’s 2014 Autumn Art Auction.
