Boroughwide Grants

The Council offers three community arts regrant programs to artists and organizations throughout the borough of Manhattan: Creative Curricula, Fund for Creative Communities, and Manhattan Community Arts Fund (MCAF) . We administer these programs in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and the city's Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA), with additional support from Citigroup Foundation.

Downtown Cultural Grants

Concluded. LMCC is no longer accepting applications for these programs.

In 2005, the Council launched a new three-year initiative to support and sustain the cultural community downtown. Our Downtown Cultural Grants provide resources to arts and cultural organizations based south of Canal Street and in Chinatown, and enable new projects and cultural events in the area. Grants include Capital Grants for Culture, Collaborative Marketing Grants, Festival Access Fund, Grants for Art in Public Spaces, Production Grants, and Promotion Grants. The initiative is made possible by The September 11th Fund.
