The ARTISTS SUMMER INSTITUTE, a 5-Day Professional Development Intensive for New York City Artists is co-hosted by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and Creative Capital. Registration for the lottery closes at 11:59pm on June 17.

LOCATION

The Arts Center at Governors Island (located in Building 110 to the right of Soisson’s Landing when you disembark the ferry from Manhattan). Complete information and a ferry schedule will be provided to participants upon acceptance.

DATES & TIMES

Wednesday, August 5–Sunday, August 9, 2015
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 9:00am–5:30pm
Saturday, Sunday from 9:00am–6:30pm

The above reflects Manhattan ferry departure times for access to and from Governors Island. Participants should expect to arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to ensure boarding.

CONSIDERATIONS

Breakfast and light lunch will be provided each day
Time will be allocated for artists to make brief presentations about themselves and their work
