LMCC will be accepting online applications for the next session of its Swing Space program beginning June 15, 2009. Recommended projects in this session will be in consideration for placement starting November 2009 through July 2010.  Please see below for complete information about how to apply.

Information Sessions

Information sessions will be held on the following dates. All project disciplines and categories will be discussed at both sessions. RSVP is required. Attending an information session is strongly encouraged but not required.

Monday, June 22, 7PM at LMCC Offices, 125 Maiden Lane, 2nd Floor: This info session is at capacity.

Thursday, June 25, 7pm at 14 Wall Street This info session has been cancelled. Please RSVP for one of the other two dates.

Wednesday, July 1, 4pm at 77 Water Street, 10th Floor: RSVP HERE.

Please follow these steps to apply:

Step One: READ

1. Download and thoroughly read the Swing Space Application Guidelines, as well as the Governors Island Addendum to the Application Guidelines.
2. Read our Tips and Frequently Asked Questions for additional helpful information about applying.
3. Download and complete the Swing Space Online Application Worksheet, which outlines all questions in the online portion of the application.

Step Two: SUBMIT

After you have read the Swing Space Application Guidelines and completed the Swing Space Online Application Worksheet (see above), you may complete and submit the online portion of the application.

Step Three: SEND OR DROP OFF

The Swing Space application is not complete until we receive the mail-in portion of the application, which consists of the Work Sample and TWO (2) copies of the appropriate Work Sample Cover Sheet, to LMCC's offices. Please refer to the Swing Space Application Guidelines for detailed information about this portion of the application.

• If you are submitting up to 10 digital images on CD, complete this Work Sample Cover Sheet

• If you are submitting up to 2 video or audio samples on CD or DVD, complete this Work Sample Cover Sheet

• If you are submitting up to 5 digital images and one video or audio sample, complete this Work Sample Cover Sheet
