185 seconds of war

One channel video, 03:05 minutes, 2006

This video piece was shot in Israel during the second Lebanon war, in the summer of 2006. It silently refers to the false notions of war as reflected through the media, and the sense of distance that those visual and conceptual notions create. The title of the piece does not only act to reveal the true nature of the peaceful landscape, but also points to the time frame given to war items on the news.
