 Strom received an MFA from University of CA, Irvine in 1998. Video installations have been exhibited at Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, High Museum of Art in Atlanta, among others. She has completed residencies at PS1/MoMA National Studio Program and the Bellagio Conference Center in Italy. Recent awards include Arts Partners, funded by Wallace-Readers Digest and the Doris Duke Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Multi Arts Project Grant, LEF Foundation, NYSCA, and Creative Capital.
